The COJA Game 2026
Following the success of our first two events, COJA hosted its third official COJA Game on June 12th 2026. The event brought together Ottawa’s current top team, and the next generation of youth who will one day replace them. The game featured 16 athletes from prep schools, U Sports, Division I, and professional athletes. We welcomed over 115 attendees, including fans and community leaders who came to support the event.
Civics Ready (2025-26)
The Civics Ready project focuses on educating high school students about the civic process, with an emphasis on municipal politics. Through workshops and co-creation events, participants explore the issues facing youth in Ottawa while developing valuable career and life skills. The project is currently working on the Youth Perspectives on Transportation report and continues to grow through new partnerships and community collaboration.
The Holistic Hub Fundraiser
The Holistic Hub Fundraiser is a collaborative initiative between COJA and the Child and Youth Permanency Council of Canada (CYPCC) that supports the development of the Holistic Hub project. Through a series of workshops set to occur in August, focused on life skills such as job searching and understanding finances, the initiative empowers youth to move toward independence while raising awareness and support for the project. As the project continues to grow, the team is building partnerships and expanding its impact within the community.
